There are always people in need of help with food security; especially when it comes to healthy food options.
Currently, that number of people in need has grown due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
How You Can Help
If you have the ability, please consider donating to Vicki’s Fresh Food Movement. Any amount helps us build funds to purchase food to be brought to our local food banks within San Miguel County.
By spending your money this way, 100% of your donation will go directly to the purchasing of foods from our regional farmers, ranchers, and dairies.
We are in communication with Angel Baskets in Telluride, who oversees and helps fund other food banks in the county, to best align our resources with their needs.
Donating this way ensures that your donation helps our local food suppliers and our regional economy, in addition to providing healthy food options to those in need.
These farmers love helping as well, so they often work with us on pricing to help your donation go further.

How We Are Helping
Angel Baskets sends us a list of food items and quantities they are in need of. Based on that list, we determine what we can source from our regional providers that lines up with their needs, mixed with our funds. 100% of your donations go directly towards food purchasing. Our time ordering, picking up, sorting, storing, and delivering this food is donated.
Additionally, Vicki’s Fresh Food Movement has donated money to the purchasing of food.
